The 18th Asia Pacific Symposium on Intelligent and Evolutionary Systems

Welcome to Singapore!

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 18th Asia Pacific Symposium of Intelligent and Evolutionary Systems (IES) to be held in Singapore from 10-12th November 2014. IES 2014 aims to bring together researchers from countries of the Asian Pacific Rim in the fields of intelligent systems and evolutionary computation to exchange ideas, present recent results and discuss possible collaborations. Researchers from elsewhere interested in collaboration with researchers from Asian Pacific Rim are also most welcome. Technical exchanges within the research community will encompass keynote speeches, invited sessions, tutorials discussions as well as oral presentations. On top of this, participants will be treated to a series of social functions, receptions and networking sessions, which will serve as a vital channel to establish new connections and foster everlasting friendship among fellow counterparts.

News:Selected papers from IES2014 will be invited to extend and publish in Special Issues of Soft Computing Journal (Impact Factor: 1.124), Memetic Computing Journal, and International Journal of Automation and Logistics .   All accepted papers will be considered for the Best Overall Paper Awards and the Best Student Paper Awards, which will be presented during the banquet. It is planned to publish the proceedings with Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science series (final approval pending). Abstracting/Indexing of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series: CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
