Manuscript Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted should be full papers and prepared according to the Springer conference paper templates (Click here).  The manuscript text should be in one-column page format. The length of the manuscripts prepared with the given template is 10 to 12 pages, up to 15 pages. Please see the Author Submission Instructions (Click here) for LaTeX style files and Word templates to help you prepare your paper. LaTeX is the preferred format (especially for texts containing several formulae), but Word templates are also available.


​It is planned to publish the proceedings with Springer in their Communications in Computer and Information Science series (final approval pending). Abstracting/Indexing of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series: CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. Selected papers from IES2014 will be invited to extend and publish in Special Issues of Soft Computing Journal (Impact Factor: 1.124), Memetic Computing Journal, and International Journal of Automation and Logistics. Accepted papers will be considered for the Best Paper Awards and the Best Student Paper Awards, which will be presented during the banquet.
